At Sharon Lakes Animal Hospital our vets know that you want to give your pet their very best shot at a long and healthy life, but as important as regular preventive care is for your pet's health, we also know that sometimes it can be difficult to manage these recurring expenses.
Our Pet Wellness Plans were created with gold standard preventive care and cost savings in mind. Pet Wellness Plans for South Charlotte dogs and cats 'bundle' all the annual preventive services your pet needs into twelve easy monthly payments, saving you money and helping your pet thrive.
Our Pet Wellness Plans include all the preventive healthcare services that your dog or cat needs to give them their best shot at outstanding long-term health.
Each Wellness Plan includes the essential preventive care your pet needs, including twice-yearly wellness exams, core vaccinations, and a full year of flea and tick prevention for your dog or cat.
Wellness exams are a complete health checkup for your dog or cat. These routine exams allow our South Charlotte vets to diagnose and treat any developing health issues and check on your pet’s diet to ensure they’re getting enough daily nutrients.
At Sharon Lakes Animal Hospital we believe that disease prevention is essential to maintaining your pet's long-term health. The core vaccinations included with our Pet Wellness Plans help to protect your beloved animals against a range of serious, often life-threatening conditions.
Sometimes pets can appear healthy, but the early signs of disease can lurk hidden within their bodies - sometimes with no obvious symptoms. That’s why our vets perform a comprehensive physical checkup on your pet, to help ensure they’re healthy inside and out.
Left untreated parasites can be deadly for our four-legged family members. Prevention provides the best protection for pets, which is why each Wellness Plan provides pets with a 12-month supply of flea and tick prevention.
If your dog or cat does become infected, fecal tests can help our vets to spot signs of intestinal parasites so that they can be treated as quickly as possible, before your pet becomes more seriously ill.
Below are a few of the common questions clients ask about our Pet Wellness Plans.
Wellness plans and pet insurance policies both offer valuable benefits, but they are very different.
The types of veterinary care covered by pet insurance and wellness plans will vary depending on your provider and level of coverage.
However, at a basic level, Wellness Plans are designed to help manage preventative care costs, while Pet Insurance is designed to cover emergency, accidents, or specific illnesses.
We offer Pet Wellness Plans for small dogs, medium dogs, large dogs, extra large dogs and cats.
Well, we strongly suggest that you do. But we are biased, of course, towards ensuring every pet we meet gets the best possible care.
Wellness plans make sense for all pets of all ages. Regular preventive care at a young age can help your pet stay healthy into old age. When you sign your pet up as a puppy or kitten, your puppy/kitten vaccines are included in the monthly fee.
Wellness Plans help ensure that pets remain healthy as they age. When you bring your senior pet in for the preventive care covered in your Pet Wellness Plan our vets will pay extra attention to screening for the earliest signs of age-related conditions. Most conditions at most effectively treated when caught early.
Bringing your senior pet in for regular wellness exams also allows our vets to provide proactive treatments to help your senior pet stay healthy and comfortable in their golden year
